freezr Apps
freezr apps are mostly some HTML, CSS, and JS files, bundled in a zip file.
Installing Apps
You can install apps by uploading the app zip file from your freezr account/home page (after you are logged in), or by pointing your freezr to the url of the zip file. (Zip file names need to start with the name of the app in reverse domain notation.)
Portability
Apps are fully portable. You can edit your apps using the freezr App Creator tool at /account/creator and make them trully your own, and then publish your version of the app if you like. You can also download all your data anytime from the app settings page, or upload/restore data if you are moving servers.
Mobile Apps & Browser Extensions
Nothing stops you from creating mobile apps, browser extensions or other "offline" apps. The app settings page allows you to copy an oauth token to authorize the app to interact with your freezr server... also if you are running a browser extension or iphone app (like Hiper Cards), freezr automatically senses the environment and allows you to passs your credentials to your iphone or browser extension with one click.

Hiper Cards is a social bookmarking app which lets you manage your tabs, highlight text on web pages, log your browsing history, and share these publicly or privately.
The hiper.cards browser extension can be installed on Chromium browsers (Chrome, Edge, Brave) from the Chrome Web Store.

You can ask sumamrizer to create a summary of your recent browsing and bookmarking activity from Hiper Cards. If you have been reseaching some topic on the web, just ask summarizer to create a summary for you - and it creates a custom web page for you showing the pages you have viewed, highlighted and bookmarked.
That is the advantage of freezr - any app can ask for permission to access another app's data and compund the value of the app and your data!
